I went over to my friend’s house one day for the night. After a long evening of playing video games, watching movies, eating junk food and playing more video games, we decided to turn in for the night. As I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom, I watched him dip his head underneath the bathtub faucet and wash his hair out very carefully.
Why did he do this? Turns out that keeping your hair free of dirt and oils can also help keep your face clear of it. Think about how often your hair touches your face! If your hair is dirty, all that dirt and oil is clogging your pores on your face and causing you to break out. It’s important to not touch your face and to wash it, but especially at night, as you toss and turn in your sleep, your hair is being pressed into your face. It doesn’t matter if you washed your face before bed – your hair will make sure it didn’t even matter if you haven’t washed it too.
So if your face acne is bothering you, try washing your face and your hair every night. You may begin to see results!
